Transcendence means to move upwards. And what does that mean? It signifies growth, rising. Becoming more than a person used to be... Crystallization. Creation of a more and more precious form. And the becoming. The becoming of a more and more precious form.
A woman is running. The wind infiltrates her hair and skin. Thoughts enter her mind. They bring her into other life areas. Complexity. Analogies. Interconnections.
The act of transcending is carried in the pursuit of the truth. The one who transcends, sees life and the whole reality through inscreasingly clear eye. Pure intention accompanies transcendence and what that intales is constant connection to Sacred Inner Guidance. Multitudinous inner meanings start to emerge.
Earlier in the morning...
While preparing herself for running, tempting, neglectful thoughts enter her mind. ‘I am going to do the same thing once again. And the same tomorrow. And the same after tomorrow.’ She desires newness. She simultaneously knows from her previous experience that if she succumbed to her novelty desire now, in this life period, something would be not right. The established running routine is seen by her psyche as a needed part of the day-system. She decides to build her flow-builder muscle.
Flow states in work are high motivation for moving forward but Transcendence is something even higher.
Our running hero is already sweating. At this point she tells herself that her new motivation for doing this extraordinary effort is to broaden the accepted range of flavors.
While transcending flow states, one discovers deep sense of pursuing pure, clear awareness. Avoiding creation, which means avoiding movement, constitudes huge part of this process. The one who is a master of Transcendence knows how easy it is for a design to go astray... He nevertheless commits to conscious creation. Life engineering happens when the artist knowingly lets go of the reins bringing himself into an intentionally constructed elation. The true flow is present as an effect of going beyond aversion to repetition.
The fitness goddess is happy now while saying: ‘Oh yeah, this new exercise which I added to my morning running was a game changer for me! I’ll use the same attitude in my work. Oh yeah baby, I’ll show you al in an hour!!!’’ What she did was a clever imbracement and expansion on top of that imbracement. She followed her system and added a new layer.
The woman puts a towel on her face. ‘Nice smell this time’.
The artist is not always identified with his piece of art. The creative process is a source of ambivalent inner states. He often feels the impossibility of ever touching the goal, of ever reaching the Absolute Transcendence. He may switch mediums in order to do That. Is it helpful? Well, sometimes it is, sometimes it is not…
Transcendence in work is constant wandering, constant pause and observation, endless checking, using consciousness, every word one is about to say and every act that is about to happen. There is a fear of betraying Transcendence... Transcendence knows when to change direction of work. It is aware of distraction and foreign, inauthentic expression though in the same time it is wise enough to take advantage from both phenomena. You ought to expand yourself and simultaneously keep your ego-system small enough so that the Big You can enter existence.
Am I finished with this piece of art? Was it all I wanted to say today? The ‘yes’ answer evokes anxiety. Nevertheless, the artist-transcender transcends even his art. This piece is now just one of the many fishes in the ocean of artistic creatures. And, the running marathon is to be continued tomorrow. Prepare a towel.
